I am a chaplain in nursing homes and I love this book! The residents enjoy hearing the stories behind the songs they were born and raised with. Thank you for all your hard work and research.

Rob, Just received a copy of “THEN SINGS MY SOUL” as a fathers day gift from my daughter. I can’t put it down, it is something that I wanted for a long time. If it is within your schedules I would like to send some details as to why your book had really made such an impact. I can understand if you can’t fit it into your schedule. I have published “AMEN, THANK YOU” a book of my life at the insistance of my family and it has become my testimony. I would like to send you a copy if you can furnish me with an address. I could also email if you prefer.
Regards,
Bill Mulgrew

On of my best resources during personal worship and Bible study. Great hymnal and the authors and background to the circumstances relating to its inspection are priceless. It gives s special depth and closeness to the words. Very encouraging.

The first time I used this book was on Memorial Day 2016. I started to play Star Spangled Banner and realized half of the song is missing. So I thought it was a fluke or misprint and I turned to Battle Hymn of the Republic and the entire chorus “Glory, Glory Hallelujah” is missing. I was able to use our church hymnals to play the songs, but I was really disappointed because had I been elsewhere with the book, I would have come up short. The stories are wonderful, but there should have been an editor for the songs. I haven’t studied the other songs since I had just recently bought the book.
